Number 11 – Jonathan Coe

I’ve just finished reading this gripping political novel by Jonathan Coe. I read it in one go: really absorbing and fascinating. Now I can say that I have a more lucid picture of todays’ UK. And I don’t like it at all. In the new order, the gap of polarization between the rich and the poor is getting wider and wider, and all the consequences that follow are upsetting. Where is the country heading? I don’t know, but the future seems to be quite gloomy.
